Homeward Bound

This morning, we headed south.
We are slowly making our way home.

Today, we heard many times the beautiful sound of this.
Tomorrow, we are going to spend the first of two days in this.
And right now, I am about to look at the back of my eyelids in this.

All the while, we are thoroughly missing this.

I saw a link to your blog through a childhood friend Casey Web. I have been reading your blogs in amazement of how faithful you are in the Lord. I have cried and prayed with every story you have posted and you and your families strength is truly astonishing. Thank you for sharing such an intimate and personal journey. I heard this song and instantly thought of your story.

Thank you for continuing to update on your journey. Praying for safe travels as you head home and that you will make some fun memories with Caleb. So thankful you have the videos/photos of those sweet eyes; I know those captured moments will be a precious treasure to you. I can only imagine how much you miss him. Praying for you in your sorrow.

I found the link to your blog from my dear junior high friend Becca Foley and was compelled to read. Your stories and photos have touched my heart greatly. It's so easy to take things for granted and your blog has helped give me some perspective and give thanks for all that we do have. Your family's faith and journey is remarkable. I just wanted to thank you, as a stranger, for sharing your faith and story with all of us. We pray for your family for healing and love.
Thanks,
Jeneea Shrable

Missing all of you. Hope you got to go to the Yogurt shop but if you didn't it's OK. Thank you for letting us say good-bye to your little guy. His picture is up in my office to inspire me. Brandon, thank you for your speech, sorry it has already been broken I wish I had you and Mandy's strength. You would make a great Preacher and your family sets a wonderful example on how to lead a Christian life.
